I received an early Christmas present this year. I received my first ever tablet! I have been looking into getting a tablet for a while to play around in Photoshop a little more, but I didn’t really know the benefit of one before. I have for the last 2 years only used my laptop mouse pad to do my editing. I thought that was good enough right? Well, a very generous gift and something I have wanted for a while and I finally got to play around with it today. This is my first photo done with my tablet and I have to say it is going to take some getting use to. This photo took me about twice as long, but I am pretty happy with it and happy to share 🙂 I am not perfect by any means, but I am happy to work on all my little mistakes and try to get better with each photo. Lately there has been a lot of drama on Facebook. I have sat back for the past week with a bowl of popcorn watching the show unfold as if I could just read every detail of each persons side of things because that is how detailed some of the posts and comments were. I do not deal with these people personally, and reading all of this has made me thankful that I mostly like to stay alone. What reason would even motivate me to mix with people who could potentially go off at a moments notice. I have found that Second Life is full of people who use others to gain something. I have found that Second Life is full of crazy people who make false claims to gain pity. I have found that Second Life is full of mentally ill people who only claim to have an issue when something doesn’t go their way. Otherwise it is all smiles right? I do know that there are good people in Second Life. I have met quite a few of them, but I am certainly not motivated to make new friends because of all the drama. Take a little note and stop venting every little issue you have with someone on Facebook. It is a tad ridiculous! It is one thing to vent about a situation and another to call people out and have back and forth statuses about someone because you want to out them or whatever the case may be. I am speaking on about 5 different “fights” I have witnessed just in the last week. Also, if something doesn’t go your way show some grace… and maybe get out of Second Life for a while to gain some sort of perspective. Making something of yourself in a virtual world means absolutely nothing. You may claim that it means something to you and it would mean the world and blah blah blah… In reality, your success is based on you sitting in front of a computer. It’s really nothing. Your much needed “SLebrity” status is null and void because it means nothing. Put your big boy pants on and get over it and move on. There is only so many times that someone can “cry wolf” on being slandered or hurt or taken advantage of before it becomes a spectacle. Rant over… TOOTLES!

On the weekends you can find me sitting down in front of a TV. I would rather watch the tv instead of be on SL. Actually, I end up leaving SL on and I am mostly screaming at the tv because it is FOOTBALL SEASON! I watch every single game that comes on. If I miss it I have another tv on recording. Maybe that sounds a little crazy; however, I have been raised this way and it seems perfectly normal to me. I didn’t find out that this wasn’t the norm for most people until I moved north. I couldn’t understand why when you went out on the weekends that every tv wasn’t turned on football. That being said, I am currently writing this during halftime so I probably need to run. TOOTLES!

Some may have noticed that I am not really around as much posting and blogging like I have been. This post is kind of fitting because I am getting fit at the gym. I go to a class 3 to 4 times a week. I am really working on myself in RL more than in SL and I have to say it is a nice change. I let things go more or less and it’s time I take back my life. I will probably post a blog once or maybe twice a week for now, but I just can’t commit to SL like i have previously. I am a little late showing some of the highlights at Uber, but I think they are well worth it. TOOTLES

I am like a lot of women in the world where I like to watch my weight and I like to try to feel great in my skin. This post is going to be talking about both of these things; however, I am going to be very transparent about my RL. Obviously weight isn’t an issue in Second Life because you can easily slide your slider on your appearance tab any way that you need to. In Real Life it is a completely different story. I use to be a skinny size 4 and to me I felt I was comfortable. I slowly gained weight over the years from my emotional eating when my husband would deploy or something of that nature. Eventually I found myself where I am now after having a child and many health issues which have prevented me from doing the amount of exercise I use to do. Eventually I just kept making excuses not to do anything because it was easier than doing something. Frustration set in and about a month ago I decided I had enough. I started taking something called Plexus slim which is an all natural drink that you just drink in the morning 30 minutes before breakfast. After about a week of doing this and then adding more of their products I have to say I have felt better at this point that I have in the last 8 years. That is a big thing for me. I am not huge by any means, but I am sleeping better, have more energy, and I have stopped drinking any sugary drinks and eating sweets. I couldn’t have done that on my own. I was pretty much addicted to sugar. People say all the time that with the correct diet and exercise that you can lose weight and not take something… but yet I did try that about 5 years ago and the weight wouldn’t budge. Next week will be my 30 days and I cannot wait to see the results that are coming from this. I can feel them, but the numbers kinda show more since I am not going to post a before and after photo here.
