I think the only thing I end up saying over and over again on my blog is that I am sorry I have been busy in RL and not able to post so much. This is most certainly true; however, what I really feel like saying is sorry I can’t post because I am still searching for inspiration. I don’t know if you have this happen or not but you find an outfit that you really like and you want to have the perfect place to wear it or you want to make the photograph perfect and you just sit on the outfit.. you wait for a while because if you rush or slap something together then its not going to really have the feel that you are looking for. I was having this kind of moment with the SlackGirl Kahlo Glam outfit. This is a complete high fashion finished product. The only thing you need to add are slink high feet for the shoes and hair because everything else is included. I find these types of complete outfits easier to just throw on and wear but harder to photograph because the designer had a specific look they wanted when they create the full outfit. Maybe it is the nerves to make it right? No idea! I do know that I have been sitting on this outfit since I got it at the INOVARE FashionArt event. This event will be ending very soon so I felt the pressure adding on to get it done… but… what to do? I also received an LM for Everwinter last week some time. It is a Post Apocalyptic theme park which has some awesome details to it. I wanted something dark and edgy like the dress and when I went there I hit BINGO right away. I had some fun in SL exploring and got a photo to go with it! I would suggest heading to the FashionArt even before its too late if you haven’t already gotten a chance. TOOTLES!
Sorry… not much time today to sit here and spill out some of my thoughts. Hopefully I will have more time tomorrow for this and a weekly reflection from last week. Monday’s really do not allow for much time and especially with a two year old. I think the terrible two’s have hit this morning! I wanted to introduce a new sim for me… Just Another Tequilla Sunrise is a beautiful fall decorated sim with so much to offer photography wise. There are little spaces all over with buildings and places to cuddle up and chat or to just snap a few photos. I had the pleasure of doing a friends headshot here as well. Top quality all over the sim really. I didn’t have much time to snap some scenic pics, but those will be coming on my flickr very soon with a LM added for you all if you would like to wait and go then. I also provided one at the bottom. Everyone have a lovely week and remember… if you get some shopping time… The Halloween Fair is open for two weeks only. Not enough time to go through all these awesome stores. Please check it out. TOOTLES!
I originally started my blog to be a little different. Not your average fashion blog but also not to be in any kind of category. You get tired of looking at the same type of blogs ALL the time. One thing I do have a passion for in SecondLife has been exploring. I find my places in various ways. Either I read the destinations guide, look into travel blogs, or I just hit a random search in SL and just being to teleport around until I find something that is of interest. This brings several questions into mind. I participated in a Monday Meme by Strawberry Singh a while back which asked what your favorite Spring location is in SL, but I never thought about how people find these locations. What is your method of exploring?
This past week FaMESHed opened for the May round with, yet again, some amazing designs and perfect for Spring. I gathered up some of my favorite things and I set out in search of a place to snap a photo. This is generally how I explore. I end up taking the photo and then looking around for future photos. Today, I chose to show this Sophia jumpsuit by Baiastice, Ingrid hair by /Wasabi Pills/, and the Earth Stone Butterfly necklace and ring by Zenith. Also, Hucci has a new subscriber gift set out which are these adorable Waltham Sandals in Coral for high Slink feet. The subscriber group is free and doesn’t take up an extra slot for your groups. After I took a few shots, I began to really look around at Avedon Park. I was actually shocked.
If you have a few minutes please take a journey over to the Avedon Park sim. Yes, the sim is beautiful for Spring and Summer photos with plenty of places for props and interesting photos, but there is more. There are nice cozy spots to dance and get to know someone, plus there is a twist. You will see more futuristic options available to check out as well. I’m not going to give to much away because I feel it should be seen and not just read about.
