Wowmeh Mesh Body

I want to start this post off by saying I am completely clueless! I am late in the Wowmeh fad as usual but I am trying to make up for that my giving some information that I found really helpful when I was considering buying this mesh body. I am going to go over some pros and yes even some cons. There are never any flawless attachments and it takes a while to get to that point. Wowmeh is very new still and there are constant updates to improve the cons that I have seen. So… Lets get started πŸ™‚

I think immediately you can see the difference in the two shapes. The Wowmeh mesh body is on the left and my normal none mesh shape, that linden labs gave me, is on the right. There are no jagged edges on the Wowmeh skin and it seems that the detailing is more clear.Β  I also love that the photos taken with this mesh body have a more realistic feel to it. I can still wear my slink hands and feet with the body and I can even still wear some of my mesh clothes because I am wearing the insize wowmeh body. There is another size which is a little thicker. You are able to adjust the body just how you like it though. Most think of a mesh body and think you can’t change it up. You can use the sliders just like you would on a normal non mesh body. The biggest plus for me is unlimited FREE updates when a new feature is added. You do not have to pay extra for that. πŸ™‚

It is only fair if I give some negatives that I have seen. I did have to go buy a special skin that had a Wowmeh applier though. This to me was a huge negative but one that will easily be fixed in the next coming weeks as the mesh body fad catches on. The appliers are getting a tad ridiculous though. I do wish skin makers would just do a single hud to change appliers. That is a different blog post though. You can find the skin makers who have appliers on the Wowmeh blog, which also includes those who make appliers for the clothes. You do have to have separate appliers for the Wowmeh. You can’t use your lola or phat azz appliers. The good news is that they are CHEAP! I like the fit of the Wowmeh appliers better than the others anyway. There is still a slight issue with the fit of my slink hands and feet. If I increased my arm muscles any more I was going to look like a muscle women. I tried to use a smaller hand size but the skin on the mesh body poked through and I wasn’t able to use it. It is almost impossible to wear some mesh clothing with this body. I had to change up some sizes and shrink the body to fit the way I wanted. Yes, I am extremely picky on the fit of things so I am probably nit picking a little bit.

My overall conclusion for this new mesh body by Wowmeh is that I do love it! There may be some issues, but they can only get better and improve and the creator is working hard to give you nice updates. The Wowmeh cost 899L, but I have heard that the price will soon increase. If you want to get the body and hang on to it now that may be a good idea. There are also a couple of other mesh bodies that will be coming out soon that include Slink and Belleza. By the initial picture of them, I wasn’t a fan of he Slink one but the Belleza skin did look amazing. I do wonder how much photoshop was used to make those bodies look like they do. This is just my personal opinion on them… but what I do know is that Wowmeh is already released with appliers AND these two photos to compare them are NOT PSd in any way. I will probably end up comparing the other bodies with the Wowmeh when they are released. I want to say a special thank you to the people who did inform me about the Wowmeh and what it was exactly. That is my clueless part, so this blog is for those other people who hide under rocks until something comes up. If you have any further questions or if you find out something about the Wowmeh that you would like to share then please feel free to message me in world at Tessagrace51. Thanks for reading πŸ™‚ TOOTLES!

  1. Good review Tessa. I tried this body out a couple of days ago and found it really promising, but also noticed some of the issues you mentioned. The barrier for me at the moment is that there’s no applier for my skin (yet), but i still bought the body, because I wanted to try it out and I’m looking forward to what it looks like when my skin and it start talking nicely πŸ™‚

Bye the way, I really appreciate you balancing your review with the pros and cons. I’ve written about how useful it is for reviewers of any product to provide a balanced view – and that many readers can appreciate that a product doesn’t have to be perfect in order to be interesting or buyable (link at bottom). It takes guts to write a balanced review, and I can tell you might have even felt a bit vulnerable doing it. Good for you though, I’m sure people appreciate your honesty.

    • Thank you Becky! I usually go by the “if I don’t like it, I don’t blog it” mentality, but what I really would love to blog about is the pros and cons of items. Hard to do that with clothes and furniture sometimes, but I do like the objective opinion better than just saying everything is great or amazing. I remember reading your meme back when you posted it and I did like it a lot. I agree… why write about something if all your going to do is say its great and move on. I think it is also important to point out what one person likes may not be what someone else would like so that is why this is just my personal views and issues I had with the Wowmeh. I ended up going to Modish and buying a new skin to try with the mesh body and I am actually glad I did… I do like the skin a lot so I am wearing it even though I am not wearing the Wowmeh much. I also look forward to reviewing the Slink and Belleza mesh bodies that come out. I am going to end up being a mesh junkie when this is all over! lol. Thank you Becky for taking the time to read and reply with your own experience. πŸ™‚

  2. Very well written. I am really impressed about how constructive the comments are on both the pros and cons and the soft tone of your writing. I’ve had the WowMeh body for a couple months, testing it and trying it with different mesh clothing, some worked and some don’t, which is really not much of an issue for me. I was lucky enough to be able to use the Skin tattoo blending layers that WowMeh provided when using their skin matching HUD. Also my current skin creator has informed the group that Skin Appliers are coming. The one cons that I don’t like is going back to use Appliers for clothing as I prefer the mesh clothes for the real layering look. You’ll be happy to know that you are ahead of me when learning about the Belleza mesh body, I heard of it from this post LOL. I look forward to your future posts. Cheers.

  3. Nice post, really loved the info. =) I think I will wait a bit to switch to mesh body until things become more advanced and ‘the norm’ but thank you for all the great information.
